Kevin Krause is a biotechnology executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning scientific research, drug development, regulatory and commercial strategy, business development, corporate strategy, and executive leadership.
Mr. Krause serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of ArrePath and as a member of its board of directors. In this role, he sets corporate strategy, oversees finance, and leads company-wide operations.
Previously, Mr. Krause was Chief Strategy Officer of AN2 Therapeutics and a member of its executive leadership team. As Project Team Leader, he led the company’s epetraborole Phase 2/3 program in nontuberculous mycobacterial lung disease. He also helped shape AN2’s financing strategy and investor communications for its Series B and Series C financings and was deeply involved in its initial public offering.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Krause held research and development and corporate development leadership positions at Achaogen, Cerexa, and Theravance BioPharma. He contributed to seven approved antibiotics: Zemdri® (plazomicin), Avycaz® (ceftazidime-avibactam), Emblaveo® (aztreonam-avibactam), Vibativ® (telavancin), Teflaro® (ceftaroline fosamil), Colobreathe® (inhaled colistimethate sodium), and Quinsair® (inhaled levofloxacin). Across his career, he has contributed to strategic transactions and collaborations, including licensing, acquisitions, and divestitures, spanning drug discovery, development, and commercialization.
A scientist by training, Mr. Krause led the in vitro research for a long-running respiratory program and contributed to several others. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, contributed to two book chapters, and is a named inventor on one issued patent and two additional patent applications.
Mr. Krause has also contributed to regulatory and public-policy discussions through invited presentations at an FDA workshop and an EMA conference that helped inform subsequent guidance, participation in and presentations at FDA advisory committee meetings, and an invited presentation to a National Academies consensus study committee convened by NIAID at the direction of Congress. The committee’s work culminated in the report Combating Antimicrobial Resistance and Protecting the Miracle of Modern Medicine. He has also spoken at scientific and medical conferences, universities, and hospitals.
Mr. Krause holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University.

Alita A. Miller, Ph.D., is Chief Scientific Officer of ArrePath, where she leads scientific strategy and translates the company’s AI/ML platform into drug discovery and development programs across therapeutic areas. She brings more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical R&D experience spanning medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, genomics, pharmacology, and preclinical and clinical development. Her leadership experience extends from target identification and validation through IND-enabling studies, regulatory engagement, and late-stage development.
Before joining ArrePath, Dr. Miller held senior leadership positions at Entasis Therapeutics, including Interim Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Bioscience. In these roles, she was responsible for multidisciplinary discovery and nonclinical research across the company’s portfolio, including an inflammation discovery program and the discovery and development of Xacduro® (sulbactam–durlobactam) and Nuzolvence® (zoliflodacin).
Dr. Miller subsequently served as Senior Vice President and Head of Preclinical Development and Translational Medicine at Design Therapeutics, where she led translational medicine and preclinical development through IND-enabling studies. Earlier in her career, she led small-molecule, biologic, and vaccine discovery programs at AstraZeneca and Pfizer. She began her career in inflammation and immunology medicinal chemistry at Merck and pharmaceutical development at Eli Lilly.
Dr. Miller earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Chicago and has authored more than 50 scientific publications.

Kurt S. Thorn, Ph.D., is Chief Technology Officer of ArrePath, where he leads AI/ML research strategy, scientific data infrastructure, and AI-enabled scientific workflows. As the company’s second employee, he designed and built ArrePath’s data and AI/ML platform from the ground up, translating biological and chemical workflows into computational systems that support drug discovery decisions.
Dr. Thorn has built systems that allow scientists to use more than 30 machine-learning models and cheminformatics tools through natural-language interfaces. He has deployed ML-guided compound-design workflows that produced designs competitive with those of medicinal chemists. He also architected AWS infrastructure supporting more than 100 million compounds and complex ML pipelines. His work spans chemical machine learning, predictive modeling, scientific data standards, and scientist-facing tools supporting decisions about potency and developability.
Before joining ArrePath, Dr. Thorn was Senior Director of Data Science at Zymergen, where he led a 30-person organization supporting high-throughput screening, ML-guided strain and protein design, molecular-property prediction, and technoeconomic modeling.
Earlier, Dr. Thorn spent 11 years at UCSF as an adjunct professor and director of the Nikon Imaging Center at UCSF/QB3. His NIH-funded laboratory developed an integrated microscopy and microfluidics platform for highly multiplexed biochemical assays. He previously completed a research fellowship at Harvard University’s Bauer Center for Genomic Research.
Dr. Thorn earned his Ph.D. in Biophysics from UCSF and his B.A. in Chemistry from Princeton University. He has authored 35 scientific publications and is a named inventor on five patents.

Zemer is a leader in applying quantitative and computational approaches to bacterial cell biology and antibiotic development. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from MIT in 1996, completed his graduate studies at UCSF in 2002, and joined the faculty of Princeton University in 2005 after completing a postdoc at Stanford University. At Princeton, Dr. Gitai was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2012 and to Professor in 2015. In 2016 he became the Edwin Grant Conklin Distinguished Professor of Biology. He was also the Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Molecular Biology from 2012-2018. Dr. Gitai’s achievements have been recognized by many prestigious awards, including the NIH Director’s Pioneer Award, the NIH New Innovator Award, the NIH Transformative Research Award, the Beckman Young Investigator Award, and the HFSP Young Investigator Award.

Diego Miralles, MD, is Chairman of the Board at ArrePath. He is a physician-scientist and biotech entrepreneur with a track record of building and leading innovative therapeutics companies across oncology, infectious diseases, autoimmune, cardiovascular, and molecular medicine. Over the course of his career, he has founded and led multiple biotechnology startups, raised hundreds of millions in capital, and overseen programs from early discovery through regulatory approval and commercial launch.
Before becoming a biotech CEO, he held senior R&D and strategic roles at Johnson & Johnson, where he helped shape development and portfolio strategy across multiple therapeutic areas. He currently serves on the boards of two publicly traded companies, Contineum Therapeutics, and Artiva Biotherapeutics.
Dr. Miralles earned his MD from the University of Buenos Aires and trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases.

Dylan Morris is a Managing Director at Insight. He joined the firm in 2021 to focus on investments in computational biology. Dylan was previously a general partner at CRV, where he built the bioengineering practice, leading the firm’s investments in Dyno Therapeutics, Recursion Pharmaceuticals, and Plexium, among others. Prior to CRV, Dylan invested at Innovation Endeavors, Eric Schmidt’s early stage venture capital firm, where he drove investments in companies operating at the intersection of data science and life science.
Before becoming an investor, Dylan cofounded Integrated Plasmonics, a venture-backed point-of-care diagnostics startup. Prior to that, he conducted graduate research in biochemistry and molecular biophysics at Caltech, where he co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Dylan received his A.B. in Computer Science from Harvard University.

Venkat Srinivasan is a serial entrepreneur and investor. Innospark Ventures is an evergreen venture fund investing in early stage AI led startups. He brings deep expertise in AI and computational algorithms to the firm, especially natural language understanding, combined with deep functional knowledge in multiple domains including operations research, finance and accounting. He has founded several successful AI-led startups, including eCredit, Corporate Fundamentals and Rage Frameworks. More recently he has founded EnglishHelper (using AI to solve illiteracy at scale), Gyan.AI (first explainable natural language understanding engine), Creda Health (Digital Health Assistant for continuum of care) and PrismX (automated software development platform).
Venkat was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by The Indus Entrepreneurs [TiE] in 2017 (http://bit.ly/2j5ElGG). Dr. Srinivasan holds 9 patents, has published over 30 research papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, has co-edited two books and is the author of a book titled, The Intelligent Enterprise in the Era of Big Data (Wiley, 2017). Venkat has strongly advocated for and believes that successful AI-led transformation will be characterized by explainability, traceability, context awareness and the ability to learn from sparse data environments.
Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Venkat served as an Associate Professor at the D’More-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

Matthias is an Investment Manager at the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF) in the United States, focusing on early-stage venture investments and new company creation in innovative therapeutics.
Matthias joined the BIVF in 2026 and brings a decade of experience in drug discovery and pharmaceutical R&D from Boehringer Ingelheim’s oncology research organization. His background provides deep expertise in cancer biology, therapeutic modalities, R&D strategy, and the translation of scientific innovation into therapeutic concepts and clinical drugs.
Matthias completed his postdoctoral training in cell biology at IMBA in Vienna and holds a PhD in biology from the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. He earned a Diploma in Biology from LMU Munich.
